Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) was raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school instructor and trainer of jockeys who was also a professional jockey. They were both passionate about horses, race meetings and the racing industry. Bea had a job as a Tour Guide at the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue racing as a career. She was more interested in the performing arts.
