Matthew Matt James, born on the 5th of December, 1991, in North Carolina. The father of Manny James, and Patty James of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian as is his mother, who is caucasian American. In 2010 he graduated in Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 2015. James gained fame when he made his screen debut as an on-screen reality television star for The Bachelorette. In 2020 he got selected as the bachelor in season 25, becoming one of the very initial African American male lead which then aired on the show in 2021. James's height, looks and ability to laugh proved him to be a perfect fit for the role. The season ended when he selected Rachael Krkconnell to pursue a relationship with her. In 2021 he partnered with well-known dancer Arnold to participate in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th.
